F.B. Little Electric Company records, 1909-1925.

Correspondence, newspaper clippings, financial records, handbills, programs, photographs, technical drawings, and other personal and administrative files of Fred B. Little, owner of the F.B. Little Electric Company in St. Louis (Mo.). The company sold chronophones, an early device for synchronizing sound with motion pictures, to Midwest theaters. The collection includes handbills advertising theater productions, newspaper clippings about theaters, theater programs, and photographs of scenes from theatrical productions. A majority of the correspondence is to Fred Little from the Gaumont Film Company, a distributor of chronophones. Also included are unidentified technical drawings and negatives of a lifting magnet designed and built by Little.
